Yellow beast, lil beast, Bumblebee, FPK............

".....From the outside, the 2006 Honda S2000 makes a clear statement that its primary purpose in life is to go fast. A gaping air dam in the front fascia; a long hood; sleek, angry headlights; and low sills down the length of both sides all combine to make it look like a caricature of a sports car plucked straight out of a Manga comic book. Once installed in the cockpit--it is more like a cockpit than a cabin--the race-car suspicions are confirmed. A red circular Start button cries out to be pushed, and the S2000's aluminum-capped six-speed shifter invites quick throws and quick acceleration. Like its 2005 predecessor, the '06 S2000 comes with Honda's 2.2-liter 16-valve four-cylinder VTEC multiport fuel-injection power plant, which manufactures a blistering 237 horsepower: for comparison purposes, that's more power than the six-cylinder Lexus RX 330 SUV...."

My review: It's super fast, all is wants to do is go fast.. it feels like something alive beneath me that's frustrated when I'm driving slowly but breaks free when an open road is in front of us. Has a mind of it's own, kinda like Bumblebee from the Transformers. It's quite small inside, but I'm small... So Con? Not at all, perfect is what I'd say. Exceptionally fun, big headturner and even more so when the top's down, though when the top's up - there are a few blindspots in the back that are considered minor issues. Pedals are tight, and the bumps on them don't allow for barefoot driving hahaha, kinda sore... but I can feel where the clutch takes better this way - being tight as opposed to not.. So it's all good. No cubby - good thing - keeping interior neat coz I don't leave anything inside. Interior is awesome, full leather, face and compartment pieces that cover up certain parts in the centre console etc, keeping it all super neat and stylish looking with the black and silver complimenting each other. Speedbumps aren't a problem, steep driveways are! Angling up and down into it though makes for no touching or scraping - so that can be avoided. Bumpy in town roads are annoying to be honest, I'd sooner drive a few minutes longer and hit the freeway between all my A-B trips. Boot is small, but maaaan does this car have plenty storage space. In actual fact, the amount of room under and behind the seats is quite surprising given the car it is, and the fact that they could be lower. But ya, plenty room, so no hindrance there either. Overall, it's super sexy, super fast, super fun and got a big love for it.... First time Roadster owner and no regrets yet...!
