S2000 update

Car went in for a service, all good... small service - so nothing major was done, however I was told that my clutch was about to say cheers to the world.. I decided that I'd know when this was true, and so I left it and waited until I knew what a slipping clutch actually felt like. (Not that I knew at first what it was) But after a vtec mission on the freeway towards to the track one day, I realised on my way home that something wasn't right. I had to nurse the accelerator into the revs and change low as well. If i put full throttle, revs were overshooting and the car wasn't even going anywhere. As I said - I had no idea what was wrong.. but took it into Honda and Gavin said that I had officially used the last legs of my clutch. So it was tickets.. It was fine for driving around town, but I may as well been driving an 1100 uno, because I couldn't even take the gap to overtake... everything had to be done quite carefully. Being careful in an S2000 is like ordering a salad at MacDonalds - It just doesn't make sense. Anyway had to wait to book it in with Gavin to replace the clutch. I was lucky enough to already have a clutch in my possession, as Andre had bought one for the s2k when it was his (knowing it didn't have forever left on it) So that's cool. All I was in for was labour to fit it. Anyway, booked it in, came back next day, much lighter than last clutch which was insanely hard. The sensitivity of the clutch control had me laughing at myself................ I stalled 3 times on the way home, hahahaaa, By the next day I was cool. Just wasn't used to feeling it properly compared to last one. All working and amazing... yellow beast back to normal *happy face*

I mentioned before that there are some fixes and add ons etc that I need to have done. That's next..... so a glimpse of that.......................... it arrived in the post 2 weeks ago, super excited for this guy to be on, it finishes off the look I wanted my car to have perfectly. It will be painted New indy yellow to match the rest of the car of course, With the bumper respray and other goings on... it's gonna look pretty neat soon.

Keen....

Anticipated end result will have it looking like this................................................
