No Ragrets... not even one.

Just wanted to share some S2000 appreciation... My one personally has become apart of me and me apart of it... So it's safe to say.........It's not going anywhere... except places...........with me behind the wheel. Some are just in love with the idea of something... others are in love with the thing itself.

Shopping antics

So as things go, we don't have much time to shop... or at least I don't seem to find the time to.. unless of course I'm having to shop for someone else, in which case I make a concerted effort at browsing for myself as well... Generally I find myself in places like Musica, or exclusive books before any clothing stores, and I think I have come to know why that is..

When I walk into exclusive books or musica I know EXACTLY what I want - so it's a safe haven due to it being my favourite stuff in the world - music and books.. I know that should I find the right thing - I'm going to walk out with it... But if I don't see anything - as I don't want everything, I can walk out quite unphased. However............ when I walk into a clothing store I want just about................ everything. So I tend to steer clear of these unless I've made a solid commitment to a clothing shopping day. Haha. There is no browsing when I walk in these shops - I walk in and pick up a million things (and that's even before underwear and PJ section - which I could also just buy everything of). So I either walk out with nothing or everything - both having their non-ideal results.....

So the other day when in Musica, I was looking for a DVD for my dad and as a last thought before leaving the store, walked over to the Vinyl section (necessary habit) and saw Alanis' "Jagged little pill' - well you know when you grab something and look left and right and clasp it to your chest (ok maybe you don't) but when it feels like you've just found Gold and you're afraid someone might come and take it from you. Well that was me... in musica.. with my jagged little pill vinyl firmly clutched... hahaha.. It's still in the plastic, albeit on the shelf with the others... waiting on the right day for opening..

Classics are classic :)

Zuma exempts 8 million pupils from school fees

So then we get people like this:

Shelly Myburgh Grobler REALLY??????? OMW! Does that include like ALL the SA school children! White children too? You joking right, this is an early April fool's prank! Shame on you!!

Lucille Marais I agree Shelly. There are some poor people in SA as well, do they also quailfy(won't mention race as I don't want this to turn racist) for fee education?

The uneducated are the "poor" decision makers in society... Every child should  be awarded the opportunity to receive an education, as they are the future (a necessary cliche) Whether some children's parents are paying for this and others not - So what? Would you honestly, as a parent who can afford to send your kid to school (a good school), have an issue with this grant given to government schooling to the children of poor families who can't..? Surely you can see the light at the end of the tunnel in such a decision. It's not the child's fault, and that child invariably suffers the loss of a "good life" where he finds himself struggling in every avenue of life due to being uneducated. Which leads no one employing "said child", which ultimately leads to crime..... Let's get the youth educated.. we complain that the tax payer's money doesn't go anywhere sound......... this is sound. I think it's great, if it's true.

Money doesn't = happiness.. but it does help though

People who have a lot of money aren't necessarily happy......... But then again... it's not the money that's causing their unhappiness either.

Moral of the story...... Find what it is in life that makes you happy.... then make enough money to keep it alive :) - that's happiness...... Keeping what you love alive.

Soul destroying

We all have our issues.... some more intense and harmful than others.

Guilt is a cognitive or an emotional experience that occurs when a person realizes or believes—accurately or not—that he or she has compromised his or her own standards of conduct or has violated a moral standard, and bears significant responsibility for that violation

"many people suffer all their lives from this oppressive feeling of guilt, no argument can overcome these guilt feelings, for they have their beginnings in life's earliest period, and from that they derive their intensity."[5] This may be linked to what Les Parrott has called "the disease of false guilt....At the root of false guilt is the idea that what you feel must be true."[6] If you feel guilty, you must be guilty!

Sometimes what we allow to consume us, can ruin us..............
Even in doubt, we always have a choice. And that onus is our own cross to bear.......

Paranoid people

If I don't understand - My mind overthinks to extreme overreaction - Those thoughts lead to paranoia on the thing I don't understand - I react badly...

The more I understand - the better I feel - the better I feel - the better I react.

It's not rocket science... It's in my make up. I need to understand things to remain calm about them. It cannot be helped... I've tried. I don't think I'm mad for this reason, I merely believe that I am one that needs to know processes of things in order to feel safe and trustful of them. Whether it be a machine, an ailment or a situation in my life. They're all processed the same way in my mind... So when I ask questions... it's because it helps me stay sane. Hahahaha.

Makes or breaks you

We never take the time to remember, or maybe even realise the crazy shit that goes on for other people in other places in the world. Yesterday I watched a video on youtube that just gave me chills about the way some people experience their days vs how I spend mine.. People are wild and their histories and upbringings are hectic (a word perfectly described). There is so much underground stuff that we are shielded from by the media because it's actually just too intense for regular news (ie murder, other crime and politics which we are now so numb to hearing about, that the severity of those articles have lost all comprehension in our minds)

Well just this morning here are 2 articles that we have been informed of, equally "wild"

A Japanese soldier who hid in the Philippine jungle for three decades because he did not believe World War II was over, has died in Tokyo aged 91.

Today is the deadline set by Al Qaeda captors for a 3-million dollar ransom to be paid for the release of South African teacher, Pierre Korkie, or he will be killed.

Crazy stuff out there...
